High-efficiency Heating Agent for Steel making
With the continuous improvement of the level of steelmaking and continuous casting technology, higher requirements are placed on deoxidation and heating. However, due to the high price of ferrosilicon alloy, the new type of warming agent developed has excellent deoxidation and exothermic properties because it contains silicon carbide, so it has been widely used to replace ferrosilicon in the process of steelmaking.
Due to the long distance between the transfer package and the production station, the production is affected by insufficient heat, so high-efficiency functional heating agent is developed by our R&D center and introduced international technology, which is mainly applied to steel-making of converter. Because of the addition of composite additives, it can release energy by itself under the condition of heat, and the heating effect is very obvious. The application of this kind of warming agent can alleviate the carbon reduction rate of the molten steel and prolong the blowing time, which is beneficial to the steel grade and cost reduction.
High-efficiency Heating Agent advantages:
1. Easy operation, no restraint from time and equipment, little pollution, can eliminate the phenomenon of inaccurate carbon content and large fluctuation.
2. Relieve the carbon reduction rate of molten steel, increase the heating rate, and solve the contradiction of carbon temperature inconsistency in the process of converter blowing, so as to increase the temperature of molten steel. Increase temperature 20℃ to 60℃ when adding 1-2kg/ton.
3. Reduce the content of sulfur and phosphorus to achieve the purpose of categorization.
4.It can improve the refining rate of steel grades, reduce blow losses and steel consumption.
5.It is good for factory to use silicon carbide as heating agent instead of using ferrosilicon to raise temperature, it can reduce alloy consumption and cost per ton of steel, thus improve economic benefits.
