Alumina hollow sphere is a new kind of high temperature refactory insulation material. The highest operating temperature can reach 1800 ℃, the product with high mechanical strength that is general lightweight products several times, and the bulk density is only half of the corundum products.
Alumina hollow sphere brick uses alumina hollow ball and alumina powder as the main raw material, combined with other binder, firing at high temperature 1750℃. The product is a kind of ultra-high temperature energy-saving insulation materials. The main outstanding features are:
1, Lightweight: Commonly used refractory materials belong to heavy bricks with volume density generally 2.6-3.0 g/cm3, alumina hollow sphere brick only 1.1-1.5 g/cm3, thus reducing 1.1-1.9 tons per volume.
2, High operating temperature: It can reach over 1750 degrees, with good thermal shock resistance, small reheat linear change and durability.
3, Energy saving: Alumina hollow ball has obvious thermal insulation properties, good heat presentation effect, low thermal conductivity and can reduce the heat dissipation, increase thermal efficiency, thereby achieve the purpose of saving energy.
Alumina hollow sphere insualtion brick can be used for high temperature kilns such as shuttle kiln.
